The system displays the following details at the top of the page.
Unit Structure Setup |
The organization unit in which the unit structure component is deployed . |
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Position Title |
The title of the position for which you are mapping the required competencies. |
Position Description |
The unique description of the position to which you want to map the required competencies. |
The system displays the employment units applicable to the selected position in the “Employment Units Applicable to Position” multi line.
You can view the competencies specified for the required position-employment unit combination.
Select |
Select the check box corresponding to the employment unit to view the competencies specified for it. |
Employment Unit Code |
The unique code of the employment unit applicable to the selected position. |
Employment Unit Description |
The unique description of the employment unit applicable to the selected position. |
Competencies Defined |
Indicates if competencies have been defined for the employment unit or otherwise. |
Select the “Get Competencies” pushbutton after selecting the required employment unit from the multiline.
The system displays the details of the competencies applicable to the selected employment unit in the corresponding fields in the “Applicable Competencies” multi line.
Competency Code |
The unique code of the competency applicable to the selected employment unit. |
Competency Description |
The unique description of the corresponding competency. |
Competency MDL |
The minimum desired level(MDL) of a competency indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in an employee. For example, if the MDL for the competency “Communication Skills” is 3 or 4 , it indicates the minimum extent to which the competency must be present in the employee. In this example, the maximum value of the competency is set as 5, in the system parameters. |
Competency Weight |
The weightage of the competency with respect to other competencies specified for the position. |
Competency Wt (%) |
The weightage of the competency in percentage. |
Mandatory |
Indicates if the competency is mandatory for the position or otherwise. “Yes” indicates the competency is mandatory for the position. “No” indicates otherwise. |
