4      Ensure that you are in the “Select Employee to Assess Competency” page.

To select through search criteria

4      Use the search facility to fetch the required record in the multiline.

4      Select the hyperlink on the name of the required employee.

4      The system displays the “Assess Competency of Employee” page.

4      The following details are displayed at the top of the page.

Date Format

The date format that is applicable to the login user. More Details

Employee

The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the value selected in the previous page.

Department

The description of the department to which the employee belongs.

Job

The description of the job of the employee.

Position Title

The title of the position of the employee.

Maximum Level

The maximum competency level set in the process parameters for competencies.

4      Specify the assessment level value in the “Competency Details” multiline.

Competency Code

The unique code of the competency.

Competency Description

The description of the competency.

Minimum Desired Level

A value to indicate the level to which the employee should be proficient in the competency against a maximum value set in the process parameters.

Possessed Level

The level to which the employee is proficient in the competency. Possessed level reflects actual competency level of the employee as per HR records.

Assessed Level

The level specified by the assessor against the competencies possessed by the employee.

Valid From

The date from which the competency information will be in effect.

Valid Till

The date till which the competency information will be in effect.

4      Select the “Save” pushbutton to save the details specified.

To view the competencies mapped to the employee’s assignment

4      Select the “View Assignment Competency” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.

To specify assessment information

4      Select the “Assessment Information” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.

To view competency information of the employee

4      Select the “View Employee Competency Information” hyperlink at the bottom of the page.
